Our Policies Outlined

1.

I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE STYLE/FIT/SIZE. CAN I EXCHANGE THE ITEM?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We do facilitate returns and exchanges once certain terms and conditions are met. To learn more about our return policy, please click here.

I HAVE SENT MY ITEMS BACK FOR A REFUND/REPLACEMENT AND I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM YOU! WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY RETURN?

It is our goal and duty to handle your return in a timely manner. If your items have been returned and you have not been refunded, please email us at afrocessoriestt@gmail.com so that we can administer your refund.

I HAVE RECEIVED AN INCORRECT ITEM (WRONG PRODUCT, SIZE, COLOR, ETC). HOW DO I GET MY ORDER CORRECTED?

If you have received an incorrect order, we would love to correct that for you! Please email a photo to us at afrocessoriestt@gmail.com so that we can look into the issue.

Returns and Exchanges: Local (Trinidad and Tobago) orders only

Not loving your purchase? No worries! If you’re not satisfied we’ll gladly accept items for return or exchange, as long as it:

  • Is in new condition

  • Is accompanied by the original invoice/confirmation email

  • Is returned within 30 days of original purchase.

  • Is NOT any of these products: Afrobandeau, AfroBand, Twisted AfroBand, Goddess Bands (any style)

 

 

International Returns (outside of Trinidad and Tobago)

Out of country customers can send items back to us at the address below using any trackable method, at your expense. Please be certain to insure the package. Please include the following information clearly written with your return:

  • Your name and billing address

  • The original invoice/confirmation email, or the order number

Once we receive your package, we will process an exchange or issue a refund  in accordance with this policy. Refunds  will be made in the form of the original payment. It also takes at least 2 weeks to fully process a refund.  

 

PLEASE NOTE 

  • We are not liable for lost packages. However, we will work with you in locating the package in any way we can. 

  • Refund does not include the original shipping cost, only the cost of the product(s)

  • Refunds can take up to 4 weeks to fully process on some orders.

  • Product that was gifted, cannot be returned.

OUR RETURN POLICY

 
Damaged or Defective Items

In the case of items damaged during shipment, or within 60 days of purchase please email us at afrocessoriestt@gmail.com  with the following information:

  • Detailed explanation of defect/damaged area

  • Picture of defect/damaged area

 

We will work with you to replace your item as fast as we can. We will send it to you at no charge and will ask you to return the damaged/defective item along with the invoice/receipt you received via email that includes your full name and order number. A free shipping label will be provided for you.

Please note that any product that was gifted, cannot be returned.

 
Shipping & Handling

I AM UNABLE TO TRACK MY ORDER/THERE IS NO TRACKING UPDATE. WHAT DO I DO?

Firstly, thanks for your purchasing - we appreciate the support! All of our items are handmade and would usually take at least 7 days for local shipping and 14 days for international shipping. 

 

LOCAL SHIPPING: TTPOST shipments are unable to be tracked – but are usually delivered within 48 hours of shipping. You will receive an email notification on the day we have dropped off the package with TTPOST. If MORE than 3 days have passed since your email notification and you have not received your package – please call or WhatsApp us on 868-678-4034. We will call TTPOST and attempt to manually track your package for you.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All our international packages are shipped with DHL and therefore a tracking number is provided allowing you to see LIVE what is happening with your shipment. However, if there are any queries, please call or WhatsApp us on 868-678-4034.
